The hygienic and accurate qualities of Baker Perkins cooking and starch-free ServoForm™ depositing systems make them ideal for producing confectionery products for the rapidly growing functional, medicated and healthcare markets, including nutraceutical, sports nutrition and pharmaceutical opportunities. This includes the production of CBD gummies, which have experienced a dramatic rise in popularity in recent years.

Consistently accurate weight and dosage control

Products from Baker Perkins systems are reproducible, and capable of validation, with the active ingredients present in precisely the quantities claimed. Consumers increasingly prefer the treatment of minor ailments or augmentation of diets in a non-pharmaceutical format.

Full range of jelly and gummy textures

Jellies and gummies are used to deliver a variety of functional ingredients including vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre, CBD, Omega-3, probiotics and energy supplements. CBD gummy production in particular has been on the up in response to rising consumer demand. Manufactured using the same process as other gummies (but with CBD added into the gelatin or pectin), our range of equipment can easily accommodate the production of what is fast becoming a very popular product.

Hard candies include antiseptics, menthol and eucalyptus oil to alleviate the symptoms of minor ailments such as coughs, colds, sore throats and nasal congestion.
