Sales Director appointed at Grand Rapids

Geoff Hawley has been appointed Sales Director of Baker Perkins Inc. at Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is responsible for sales of the company’s systems and services to producers of cookies and crackers, bread, confectionery, ready-to-eat cereals, snacks and pet food.

Geoff has over 30 years’ experience in the food industry worldwide, including 10 years based in the UK as Baker Perkins’ international sales manager for the bakery sector. In his new role he will work with customers throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Dan Smith, general manager of Baker Perkins Inc. says, “Geoff’s process and equipment experience and know-how, backed by our continued growth in technical, process and application expertise, strengthen our ability to fulfil customers’ development initiatives.”

Baker Perkins has supplied machinery, systems and services to the food industry from its Michigan base for over 100 years. The latest engineering and control technologies are employed to maximize performance from automatic plants and unit machines that are easy to operate, clean and maintain.

A Lifetime Support program is committed to supplying parts, service, upgrades and rebuilds that improve performance and maximize service life. The Baker Perkins Innovation Centers provide product and process development capability for customers.
