A placement student at Baker Perkins (Peterborough) will use their academic knowledge gained at University and apply it to real-life situations. This role will involve important project work that will make a real impact to the business and offer invaluable work experience.
Candidates who are studying towards, and are predicted a 2:1 in, the following degrees will be considered:
- Engineering, preferably either Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Design Engineering or Manufacturing
- Food Technology or Food Engineering
They should be able to demonstrate a passion for engineering and an eagerness to learn and develop.
A competitive salary is on offer and those who perform well over the year would be potential candidates to join our graduate programme when they complete their degree.
How to apply:
Normally industrial placements run from July to July. We usually start to advertise during the autumn term and hold an assessment centre in January/February.
