Kyle Doyle has been appointed sales engineer within the Baker Perkins Industrial Extrusion team; he will be responsible for developing the service side of this twin-screw extrusion based business.
Kyle will be promoting Baker Perkins’ Lifetime Support concept, which covers equipment throughout its working life. It involves parts and servicing, inspection and fault finding, process refinement and troubleshooting, major repairs, upgrades and rebuilds to improve line performance and extend life. His new position will enable him to introduce customers operating Baker Perkins equipment to many of Baker Perkins’ recent innovations to improve performance.
Kyle, previously a technical sales trainee, joined Baker Perkins five years ago and completed a manufacturing apprenticeship before moving into the Industrial Extrusion business, serving the powder coating and pharmaceutical industries.
Baker Perkins’ range of industrial twin-screw extruders covers outputs from laboratory scale to over four tonnes per hour. The company has been at the forefront of twin-screw extrusion technology since pioneering its introduction nearly 40 years ago, and has an installed base of over 1,000 extruders world-wide.
