A production scale SBX50 twin-screw extruder can be configured for a wide range of extruded foods. Dedicated dies and cutters are available to produce meat substitutes and extenders as High Moisture Meat Analogues and dry TVP. This extrusion plant can make a wide range of breakfast cereals including flakes. A separate, complete pilot-scale cereal plant with cooker, flaking mill and shredding rolls and a fluidized bed toaster is also available. A wide choice of snacks can be handled, and extruded ingredients capability includes pre-gelatinized flours and breadcrumb.
