Kemutec Head of SalesJob Purpose
Based at the home of the Kemutec Product range in Poynton – near Manchester, the role is to proactively build and service customer relationships within the Food & Chemical Industry for the Kemutec and wider Group product range. Working alongside Sales, Applications & Proposals, both in the UK and the wider EMEA Region. Close co-operation will be required with the Engineering and Commercial departments, customers, suppliers, agents and distributors.

Main Duties
- To be part of a UK based team covering the target Food Industries, providing proactive and reactive end user support locally within the UK and additionally providing Kemutec product support for our Food team colleagues within EMEA.
- To work directly with the Kemutec head of Sales on specific Key Account activities including new leads and bid management.
- To make Customer visits to proactively promote our products and services and the benefits achievable with our solutio To generate good quality enquiries and increase demand of our portfolio within the Food Market and customers based or operating within the UK.
- To build up a high level of knowledge in the Competitors products and solutions in particular their strengths and weakness From this knowledge prepare guidance notes to help the other Sales, Applications and Proposals teams when competing against these companies.
- To prepare presentations to help demonstrate the technical and commercial benefits of our solutions for use in customer and internal meetings.
- To prepare enquiry pre-qualifications and develop ‘strategies to win’ based on sound understanding of the Customer’s Technical and Commercial requirements including decision making processes, project timescales, all relevant Financial considerations and Competitio
- From enquiries/leads generated personally or from direct inbound customer enquiries, review the information provided to ensure that a technically and commercially sound proposal can be generated. If the enquiry/lead does not provide sufficient information for a review to be completed, communicate directly with the customer to gather the necessary information for a successful review to take pl
- Carry out a handover to the Applications and Proposals team utilising the relevant enquiry information to allow a technical and commercial proposal to be prepare Depending on workload and availability, it may on occasion be necessary to prepare the proposal directly.

- Preparation of Handover documents and attendance at Engineering Handover meetings for proposals that convert into orders. At the meetings provide the technical and commercial summary to the engineering and project teams. On Key Account activities, support will be provided where necessary by a Key Account Manager.
- To plan for short and long term activities in order to achieve maximum time in face to face situations with existing or new customers, and to develop a strong prospect pipeline of interested Customers and potential orders in-line with the EMEA Sales Str
- Fully utilise and manage all sales based activities (visits, calls, leads, enquiries, prospects and forecasts) using the Company CRM platform, to enable real time sales and contribution forecasts.
- To fully exploit digital platforms (LinkedIn etc) to grow a strong customer reference list and promote company activities
- Participate proactively in regular sales meetings to review MTD and YTD intake, customer visits and planned activities. Ultimately contributing to the planning and fulfilment of company budge

Candidate Profile
Must have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Computer experience, with basic skills on office and NAV
- Experience in working in engineering environment
