Modern cracker equipment based on traditional values

Modern cracker equipment based on traditional values

An Asian customer returned to Baker Perkins to order a complete sheet forming and cutting line to make a variety of flavoured crackers.

The customer recognised that we have developed today’s range of equipment with the user’s needs in mind – easy to operate, clean and maintain, with state-of-the-art controls - whilst retaining our core values: robust and reliable equipment, with high-quality engineering ensuring a long life, all backed by excellent support.

The new cracker line was built to our TruClean™ standard and included a laminator - the most common forming method for crackers - gauge rolls, rotary cutter and a Direct Gas Fired oven.

Baker Perkins offers a series of best-in-class unit machines in each key technology for complete cracker plants; more than a century of experience provides us with an unrivalled ability to combine them into profitable, efficient, flexible systems that combine high output with excellent weight control.
