Kemutec Sales ManagerJob Purpose
Primarily selling into the food industry, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide effective customer service through the handling of customer enquiries, to quotations, processing orders and shipping of spare parts and assemblies.
To act as the main interface between our customers and Kemutec to ensure replacement parts and assemblies of orders are handled professionally and responsibly.
Qualifications
Candidates who have undertaken basic engineering training/apprenticeship or have an aptitude for mechanical or equipment will be considered.
Sales training will be provided to the right applicant, with the opportunity to develop and grow this role as part of the aftermarket business within the wider group.
Main Duties
- To carry out a program of training on Kemutec and Mucon equipment in support of existing aftermarket activity and to develop knowledge for customer support and day to day functions, this may also include sales training for the right candidate.
- To carry out a program of planned activity in support of the development and growth of Kemutec aftermarket division.
- To supply detailed and considered responses to customers including pricing via quotations of all necessary parts.
- To receive and process customer enquiries and orders with responsibility to ensure the execution of these orders by direct customer interaction and within Kemutec departmental functions.
- To provide effective cash control, invoicing, and accurate order shipment instructions on behalf of customers.
- To actively seek out new opportunities to grow the spare parts business in line with departmental objectives. By means of developing customer relationships, promotional contact with customers and good customer service expedition of sales orders.
- Gain an understanding of the material returns and warranty systems to actively manage the quick turnaround of returned / faulty goods and equipment.
- Interact with other business sectors within the wider group as required to support sales activity and development of sector growth.
- To provide support across the range of equipment to ensure Kemutec can operate with some flex in its day-to-day activity and workflow.
- As well as the above key objectives, you will be expected to carry out other duties, which can reasonably be assessed to be part of your role.
