Soft Dough Biscuits
Rotary moulding is the industry-standard method of making soft dough biscuits.
Moulding the dough in the precision engraved impressions of Baker Perkins’ moulders not only brings great consistency to the final biscuit, but also provides limitless opportunities to add interest and variety by adding lettering, intricate designs or 3D pictures to the surface.
The sweet taste is usually enhanced with flavours such as chocolate, butter, caramel, spices and fruits, while additional dimensions to the texture can be provided by oats, nuts or bran. Half-coating or fully enrobing the products with chocolate can turn any plain biscuit into a high-value treat.
