Snack Toaster Oven
This specialized Direct Gas Fired unit is designed specifically for toasting snack products that require extremely rapid processing. No drying is involved, merely toasting the product exterior. Extremely high heat input is achieved by utilising ceramic burners.
The snack toaster oven applies selective colour highlights to extruded or baked snacks. This gives the products a ‘home cooked’ appearance. The taste, texture and moisture content of the product are not affected.
Ceramic burners create extremely high heat input that colours the edges of the product quickly and creates ‘highlights’. The brief process time ensures that this visual effect is the only change to the product. Ceramic burners are used to optimize the level of radiant heat, which is ideal for the colouring process. Reflectors direct the heat down onto the product to achieve the desired effect in the shortest possible time. This also minimizes energy cost.
