Simon Rowlatt has been appointed international sales manager for the Baker Perkins range of mixing and forming equipment for high-output plant bakeries. He takes over from Geoff Hawley, who has joined Baker Perkins in the USA.
Simon will support customers throughout Asia, Australasia, Africa, the Middle East and South America. His appointment provides continuity to Baker Perkins’ customers in these areas as he has already worked with many of them in his most recent role as a project manager.
His wide experience with Baker Perkins bakery equipment includes spells as a design engineer, commissioning engineer, product engineer and deputy engineering manager.
Mixing and forming systems from Baker Perkins enable bakers to meet increasing market demand for high quality premium bread. Equipment is designed to handle the dough carefully from mixing through the dividing, rounding and moulding operations, preserving the integrity of the dough structure and producing a quality product with high consumer appeal.
