Tweedy™ T170 Mixer

  • Benefits

    The Tweedy™ T170 is designed for small to medium sized bakeries. It provides high-energy mixing giving mix times as low as three minutes.  It is suitable for a wide variety of dough types. It combines simplicity, ease of use and hygienic operation with consistent dough quality.

    Flexibility

    The T170 is suitable for mixing a wide variety of products: tin bread, toast bread, morning goods, burger buns, country loaves, baguettes, ryebreads, pizza bases, fruit bread, cake batters and many more. Some products may require a simple change of impact plate.

    Consistency

    Consistently high product-quality is achieved through accurate weighing of the recipe, effective blending of the ingredients and uniform development of the dough. Mixing time is based on energy input and is consistent from one batch to the next

    Easy to operate, clean and maintain

    User-friendly controls include a simple operator interface. Operations are all driven by the recipe and there are extensive diagnostics for machine and process faults. For ease of cleaning, the design avoids dirt and waste entrapment. Discharge is efficient and no mixture remains in the bowl. The T170 is all stainless steel and complies with all relevant hygiene standards.

    Pressure vacuum mixing

    The T170 is available with the pressure/vacuum mixing option. This improves loaf volume and crumb structure and enables the texture of the bread to be fine or open. Product quality is enhanced with improved crumb colour and softness. Cost benefits include increased yield, longer shelf life and a reduction in yeast and improvers.

    Output

    From 800 to 2,000 kg/hour, based on 12 cycles per hour, with a typical mix time of three to four minutes.
